I am feeling so thankful for my healthy family and all the blessings we have in our life. I want to live each day as if it’s Thanksgiving. Giving thanks and being Grateful each and EVERY day.

Our Everyday…

With a little help from Dad, Drew lost his 3^rd tooth this week!

With each tooth that he has lost up, he makes us write a letter to the tooth fairy asking if he can keep the tooth. I told him that the value of the tooth goes down if the tooth fairy is not able to take it with her…he said he would rather keep the tooth than have the money!!!

Our Everyday…

The idea behind “Our Everyday” is to capture details as they happen that might otherwise be forgotten. Totally speaks to me because I am so afraid of forgetting those little details in the grand scheme of everything.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

I put up the trees in both thier rooms and they are ESTATIC! This is going to be such a fun Christmas. CAN. NOT. WAIT!

Minnie Mouse Birthday Fun!

Our little birthday girl has a major crush on Minnie Mouse right now and it made my decision on her birthday theme super easy. There is SO much cute Minnie stuff so the party was easy to pull together. I “tried” to keep it simple but for me, that’s hard to do. My inner party planner takes over and I really have no control at all.

Brooke had her two year old shots a couple days prior to the party and was not herself AT ALL. She was tired, whiney and overall, a stage five clinger!! She perked up a bit as the party went on and it turned out to be a great day filled with lots of family, friends and fun!

TWO Cute!

Our favorite little girl turned two! She is growing up so fast and definitely is little miss Independent! Brooke idols her brother and wants to do EVERYTHING Drew does. There is NO stopping her and for that reason, she seems so much older than just two. Dr. Polito even made a comment that everything about her physically and developmentally indicates that she is three. In some ways I feel cheated…don’t take away an entire year of her babyhood away. You know I’m trying to hold on to every little bit of my baby…but man she is making it really hard.

Her 2^nd birthday fell on a Tuesday this year. We had a fun evening at Chuck E Cheese with the family. She had such a good time running around playing all the games. She was holding on to all her tickets like they were gold…she wouldn’t even turn them in for a prize at the end. This weekend we are hosting a big Minnie Mouse 2^nd birthday party for her at the house. Can’t wait!!!
